Slow Down and Focus

We all have something that we love to do. I’m not talking about going to see a movie or eating ice cream. Yes, those are fun, but there are certain activities that are refreshing to our souls. Something that our souls are meant to do.

For me, it’s studying God’s creativity with my camera in hand. I almost get giddy when I have the chance to slow down. And focus.

Realizing the care that God puts into all of His creation. Because the tiniest of flowers has the most intricate details that often go unnoticed.

And realizing that things aren’t always what they seem. This flower is not wilting to die.

It’s waiting to release these dainty little flowers. Flowers within a flower.

Thank you, Lord, for refreshing my soul and giving me time to stop and focus on your limitless creativity that is unimaginable by man.

What is it that your soul is meant to do?
